Videos – The introduction video compares the various indoor rowers on the market, focussing on the Indoor Sport Services model D and will guide you through understanding the standard rowing screen on the monitor, the damper setting and general machine set up, ensuring the safe use of the machine. There is also a warm up guide including stretching exercises, on and off the machine, which will prepare your body to row efficiently, getting the most from your workout.
The Audio Coach is designed to be used whilst you are exercising on the rower, guiding you through the familiar warm up routine, and getting you ready for your rowing workout.
RowActiv will teach you about technique, demonstrating the 'perfect' rowing stroke, by breaking it down into its component parts from the catch through to the recovery, and will also help you to identify what not to do and common technique mistakes.
The training sessions cover various rowing intensity levels from beginner to novice, allowing you to tailor your workouts and jump straight in whether you are training for an event or just want to keep fit.
You can even launch itunes within the app, to listen to your own playlist of music to workout to, and a built in rowing log to record your training data, for you to track you progress easily.
Use the club finder to locate rowing clubs in your area using the map and contact details to get in touch with and join like-minded individuals, which is a great way to stay focussed and motivated.
Finally the News and Events section will keep you up to date with all the stories and competitions in the rowing world, from one-day regattas to the forthcoming Olympics.
