The sport of indoor rowing has:
- Attracted new sporting participants to OSHL activities
- Raised activity levels of inactive children
- Established new opportunities for both inter and intra school competition
- Enabled a Rowing Leaders course to develop sports leaders' abilities to teach younger children to row and to organise and run competitions
- Helped to raise standards of attainment through delivery in the Physical Education curriculum at KS3 and KS4, and in accredited courses such as GCSE PE
- Enabled us to establish sustainable school club links with local rowing clubs and organisations.
