Adapt2Row and SEN
None of the children had ever been rowing before and two of the older ones displayed such an aptitude for it that it is highly likely that they will try it again. Not only was the experience a huge boost to the children's self esteem and confidence, but it was a perfect bonding opportunity for the group and helped to form the strong ties that will hold this supportive group together for many years to come.

Adapt2Row Support Seats
There are 2 seats available both manufactured from glass fibre with a polished gel coat and available in a range of colours. It is advisable to use the seat in conjunction with padding to prevent pressure sores. The Complementary Support Seat (£299.00) is designed for users who require a greater degree of support than the standard Concept 2 seat, including elderly people and those with learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, dyspraxia and incomplete/low level spinal cord injury.
The Postural Support Seat (£410.00) is designed for users with physical and neuro-muscular impairments who require a high degree of postural support, including those with spinal cord injuries, amputees, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease, this is a larger bucket style seat and would be generally used by people who would transfer from a wheelchair. The seat can be fixed in position by the use of clamps allowing a stable transfer. Lumbar and lap straps are available to restrain the user. We would highly recommend the seat to be used in conjunction with padding to prevent pressure sores.
Both seats are availble from the Indoor Sport Services Shop
