Individual Endurance Row World Record
Posted by Concept2 News on the 8th of July 2011
On Friday 1st July, Lincoln Rowing Mens vice captain Chris Farrell started his bid to break the 20-29 Lwt World Record for the longest continual row. To be classed as a continuous row and individual must row for at least 50 minutes of every hour and the existing record was 30 hours set by Dave Holby in 2009.
At 4am on Sunday 3rd July Chris stopped rowing having broken the record by a staggering 11 hours.
The record attempt wasn't just for fun, it was also to raise money for Kidney Research UK, donations can still be made!
