The Squad

Posted by Concept2 News on the 24th of April 2012

This week on THE SQUAD we take a look at Northwich Rowing Club (est. 1875) and the GB Rowing Centre at Caversham (est. 2006): two contrasting faces of British rowing, but both vital - in their different ways - to the health of rowing in this country. The link to both is Matt Langridge, 2011 M4- World Champion and 2008 M8+ Olympic silver medallist. Matt took his camera along to the club where he learnt to row, catching up with the legendary Boxing Day Eights. Elsewhere, Alex Partridge and David Tanner explain how the Caversham Centre has brought new levels of professionalism to the GB Rowing Team.
