24 Hour & Longest Continual Tandem Row World Records
Posted by Concept2 News on the 14th of May 2010
Congratulations to David Plumb and Iain Greenwood who last weekend set a new world record for the tandem 24 hour row in the 40-49 Lwt men category.
Ian and David started rowing at noon on Saturday 8th May at the Colleton Pre-School in Twyford, and by midday the next day had covered 313,128 metres. As well as the record for furthest distance rowed in 24 hours their effort also sets the mark for the longest continual tandem row.
