British rowing stars Tom James, Mark Hunter, Fran Houghton and Debbie Flood have returned to rowing training this week.
The athletes took some time out after the Beijing Olympics last year and have now returned to winter training to start their three-year build-up to London 2012.
"It's fabulous to see all these guys back in training. They are hugely motivated," said GB performance director David Tanner.
Double Olympic champion Steve Williams has not yet been seen participating in rowing training, although he has not announced his retirement.
Final selections for the 2012 Olympic Games will be made in spring after winter rowing training is complete.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics featured a total of 14 rowing events, with the GB team taking six medals in total - two gold, two silver and two bronze.
Top accolades were won by the men's double sculls (lightweight) and men's four without coxswain (heavyweight) teams, with success also achieved in the men's eight with coxswain, women's quadruple sculls without coxswain, men's double sculls (heavyweight) and women's double sculls (heavyweight) categories.
