National School Sports Week: Schools Indoor Rowing Challenge

Row for Gold in Beijing: Olympic distance 2000m online row
- When: A one week only challenge between June 30th and July 6th.
- Challenge: Complete the same 2000m row as the British team will complete in Beijing as a relay team of 4. (Approx 10mins or less per team, current bests on the league are 8min 56s for KS2, 6min 45s at KS3 and 6min 11s at KS4/5)
- Prizes: Certificates for each team to enter online and complete the course. Prizes for the top 3 teams in each age category.
- Participation: The league is open from years 6 to 13, with a parents and teachers division too. Join the 13500 students already registered this year on the Schools Indoor Rowing League
- Competition: Register your time on the free online league and see if you have beaten teams in your school and anywhere in the nation
- Teamwork: All students in the team must row at least once. Like a Formula 1 pit crew, the team must work together to make changeovers as quick as possible ** More information to follow soon... **
