Loughborough PGCE Students are introduced to Indoor Rowing

The Education Team introduced 65 Loughborough Students fresh from the rigours of Teaching Practice to the joys of Indoor Rowing in Schools.
Maxine Tompkins (SSCo Djanogly City Academy) directed 10 teams in a frantic 2000m Relay race as well as other practical aspects of Indoor Rowing in School.
Paul Walker (PDM Farnborough School) spoke about the success of Indoor Rowing in the Nottingham SSP and how it catered for the disaffected, the talented and how it created Club Links to on water rowing.
Many of the students signed up for a more detailed look at Indoor Rowing and are taking part in a Practical Indoor Rowing for Schools course next week.
