Injured Burnley midfielder Chris McCann has been using a rowing machine to ensure his swift recovery from a ligament problem.
Teammate and goalkeeper Danny Coyne has been explaining how much of a blow the injury has been to the 22-year-old, who is in his debut premier league season with the club.
Speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, Coyne underlined the youngster's commitment to his rehabilitation regime, set by head physiotherapist at the club Andy Mitchell.
The 36-year-old told the newspaper: "We had quite a few games of badminton and challenges on the rowing machine.
"He's [Mitchell] very competitive, but that's good because he's always pushing you and his theory is if he's doing the best he can then that's going to push you along as well."
McCann is set to be joined by striker Jay Rodriguez in the rehabilitation sessions, with the 20-year-old having picked up a fractured ankle in the 2-1 reserves win over Hull City on Wednesday.
