Exercise tips for 2010

And with predicted exercise trends for 2010 including cycling, triathlons and dance fitness classes, according to Zest magazine, there is something for everyone.

To help stick to a new 2010 exercise plan, top personal trainers have a few tips, reports the website mylocalhealth.com.

Fitness expert Allegra Feamster recommends people be specific in what they want to get out of a fitness programme.

"Instead of making a broad goal of wanting to get in shape, determine that you want to move down a pant size in thirty days or make it to the gym four times a week," she says.

Ms Feamster adds that the more you fine tune your objective, the easier it will be to craft a plan to get there.

Meanwhile, Nicki Anderson, head of Reality Fitness, suggests taking care not to overdo a new routine, as over-exercising could result in burnout or even injury.
