Day Two - Boom

Well, day two is down. Much the same as yesterdays workout but this time I added in some stretching after the first 20min row as I really felt some tightening up. And well, I should be stretching anyway!
The SkiErg is a new one for me and I already have a love/hate relationship with this bit of kit! Man can you feel the burn and my heart rate just shoots up even on low settings, but when your using it you just know it's giving you a great core workout, even if you're not a skier.
Decided against doing a daily weigh-in, I think I'm going to need to be seeing at least a small amount of weight loss to keep my motivation up, so a weekly or possibly even fortnightly weigh-in is the plan.
Eddie kindly gave me a POWERBreathe at the end of the session I did with him and being a bit of a gadget fan I was pretty intrigued. Although it looks like something James Bond would use to breathe underwater Eddie swears by them as the only way to exercise your breathing muscles. They've got some great write-ups and it's a mere 30 breaths in the morning and 30 in the evening so I'm definitely going to give this gadget ago. I'll let you know how I get on with it in a few weeks time. Anyone tried these?
