Celebrity trainer Greg Whyte endorses Concept2

Many of you are aware of the 'Bishops Hell' challenge that John Bishop completed on behalf of Sport Relief this year. As you know John cycled 185 miles from Paris to Calais, in less than 24 hours, he then rowed across the Engish Channel & then ran 90 miles from Dover to London. All of this was achieved through blood, sweat & tears from John & in part down to the training, support & guidance from Greg Whyte.
Greg also worked alongside Eddie Izzard for his 'marathon a day' challenge in 2009, he worked with comedian David Walliams as he swam for Comic Relief & Sport Relief, first in 2006 they swam the English Channel, in 2011 David then swam the Thames. James Cracknell also benefited from Greg's expertise when completing his 'cross-continent' challenge in 2008.
Along with the great work that Greg has done with the celebs he is also an athlete in his own right, having competed at the Barcelona & Atlanta Olympic Games in Modern Pentathlon, he also medalled in British, European & World Championships.
So when at Concept2 we heard that Greg had recommended that John Bishop use a Concept2 for his Bishops Hell challenge & Greg's reason was because the Concept2 rowing machine was the best brand of indoor rower, we asked Greg if he could let us know why (like us) he thinks it's the best -
"In an age where there is a wealth of fitness and training equipment, I continue to recommend Concept2 rowing ergs for those wanting to increase their strength, endurance and cardiovascular fitness through a unique and fun exercise. Although nothing can beat the real 'on-the-water' experience, Concept2 ergs offer a fantastic alternative rowing experience in the gym or at home. The technology is second to none in terms of both the construction and software. Most importantly Concept2's are suitable for people at all levels - from beginners right through to professional rowers as part of an exercise/training regimen. Consider the use of Concept2 ergs as an investment in your health and well-being and a great addition to a wider fitness programme."
