Catholic Partnership Sports Day, Birmingham
Posted by Concept2 News on the 18th of July 2007
On Thursday 5th July, 9 Catholic Secondary Schools from Birmingham came together for a Partnership Sports Day. The hosts were Bishop Walsh School in Sutton Coldfield and one of the organised events was an indoor rowing competition. Each school was represented by 6 boys and 6 girls all from Y8 and 9, most of whom had never rowed before! The boys and girls had relay competitions whereby each team had to row for 12 minutes and the team who rowed furthest were the winners. This turned out to be Archbishop Ilsley for the boys and Cardinal Wiseman School for the girls. A fantastic day was enjoyed by all pupils.
