Indoor Rowing Training Guide
Posted by Concept2 News on the 21st of March 2003
As an unmarked Securicor van trundled away from Indoor Rowing Towers last week, heading for an unmarked printing firm on an unmarked street, a huge sigh of relief went around. Finally, the long promised, long delayed second edition of the Indoor Rowing Training Guide was on its way to be lovingly inked onto vellum by monks who have spent their entire lives in training for this task. Or so you'd think when you hear the twenty-five pound asking price. However, the new Training Guide is a whopping 253 pages long, effectively treble the size of the first version. The Guide has been completely rewritten and there are new chapters devoted to weight training, sports psychology, lightweight rowing, training for the elderly and much more. The new Guide will be published in a ring binder format so that people can add any updates in the future. We will also, like the last one, be making the Guide available free to download on-line for anyone who wants one. The Guide will be available to buy from April 1st onwards, assuming those monks don't strike for more money.
