Since last fortnight, interest in a possible future rowing competition over a longer distance than the usual 2,000 metres has hotted up quicker than a hot thing doing a very hot activity on a hot day [Note to self: buy new book of metaphors]. As well as a Neil Rhodes organised competition to be possibly held in December, there's also now the idea of another competition in Grimsby as well.
