24hr Record Attempt For Charity

Posted by Concept2 News on the 15th of June 2010

Roger Brown and Julian Norton are attempting to break the world record for 24 hours on a Concept2 indoor rowing machine. The current record is 349 km (that's 2:03/500m for those in the know!). They are rowing on the 17th and 18th July this year. They've been training incredibly hard because they both want to break the record but more importantly they want to raise £7,000 to start a night sitting service at their local hospice-at-home charity.

It is a really well run, efficient charity and they provide a critical service almost entirely funded by donations. So they'd be really grateful if you would consider sponsoring them.

You can give on-line via our website www.hh24-7.org.uk - there's also more about the challenge on the website.
