Two new individual 100K British records were set last weekend by Neil Turner and David Plumb, both members of the Free Spirits team.
The row took place at the Virgin Active health club in Chigwell, Essex and raised upwards of £2000 for McMillan Nurses and a local hospice - St Francis Hospice Havering. Neil set up the event to raise funds for the two charities who helped his colleague Russ who died of cancer last year.
David completed the distance in 8:00:56 setting a new record for the 40-49 Lwt category and Neil finished just under an hour later setting the mark for the 30-39 Lwt category at 8:56:35.
